ASIAN PREMIERE - MAY 2012
SINGAPORE ARTS FESTIVAL

The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle had its Asian premiere at the Singapore Arts Festival, May 2012. The month-long Arts Festival is one of the most significant arts events in Asia, and The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle was the centerpiece of the festival, staged at the beautiful 2200-seat Esplanade Theatre. The show generated significant local buzz and was a success with both critics and audiences.

In August 2011, The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle enjoyed six sold out performances at the prestigious Edinburgh International Festival. Based on the incredible exposure provided by the Edinburgh and Singapore festivals, The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle expects to confirm additional touring destinations in the 2012-2013 season for US and international venues.

In January 2010, a "sneak preview" performance run was presented during The Public Theater's "Under the Radar" Festival at the Ohio Theater, NYC. The eighteen-show engagement was sold out one week prior to the first performance. Presenters included the Asia Society, Baryshnikov Arts Center and Pamela Lubell.
