Current Status: This project is being simultaneously developed in Japan and the US with generous support from the Japan Foundation, the Japan-US Friendship Commission, the Asian Cultural Council and the Saison Foundation. November 2007 marked the first endeavor by the creative team with their first workshop at 3-Legged Dog Art and Technology Center in their state-of-the-art facility in Tribeca, NYC. In January 2008, the team presented approximately thirty minutes of material during the ISAP and APAP conventions in NYC. In the spring, several members of the creative team travelled to Tokyo for a three-week workshop with Japanese actors, translator and multi-media artists, culminating in an important showcase for potential Japanese producers, presenters and corporate sponsors. The bi-lingual play will first be presented in the fall of 2008 as an international collaboration between Western and Japanese actors, puppeteers, musicians and designers before traveling to international destinations.
