| Current Status: This project is being simultaneously developed in Japan and the US with generous support from the Japan Foundation, the Japan-US Friendship Commission, the Asian Cultural Council and the Saison Foundation. November 2007 marked the first endeavor by the creative team with their first workshop at 3-Legged Dog Art and Technology Center in their state-of-the-art facility in Tribeca, NYC. In January 2008, the team presented approximately thirty minutes of material during the ISAP and APAP conventions in NYC. | In the spring, several members of the creative team travelled to Tokyo for a three-week workshop with Japanese actors, translator and multi-media artists, culminating in an important showcase for potential Japanese producers, presenters and corporate sponsors. The bi-lingual play will first be presented in the fall of 2008 as an international collaboration between Western and Japanese actors, puppeteers, musicians and designers before traveling to international destinations. |
